If You Could Meet 5 People.....

Have you ever thought to yourself, after watching something on TV or reading a book or doing anything really, damn...I sure would like to meet him/her. Well I find myself doing that more often than you would think. So I thought, why not put down a list of 5 people that I would like to meet. There are only two rules. The person has to be alive at the time you make the list and the person has to actually exist. It was a really tough decision actually narrowing them down, but I finally did it. And here they are, the top 5.

Nelson Mandela

This was a pretty simple first choice, I mean apart from being a proudly South African individual, I would just want to meet the great man. This one was a bit touch and go, because of Mandela's health was an issue to make the list and I think we all know that he is not long for this World. That is why I choose to write the list now, as it would feel empty without him. I am sure that this great man, who repaired a nation on the brink of war, would be on most of your lists. 27 years in prison and still he was able to show love to those who stole more than a quarter of his life. The amazing thing about him was, he didn't see it as imprisonment, but rather bettered himself and made sure his mind was always free. I would love to get a chance to shake this great man's hand and just say thank you for being all round awesome.

George R.R. Martin

Ahhh the man who brought us a Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), the man who brought us characters that we welcomed into our family and the man who then decided that they all needed to die (queue the endless river of tears, oh Rob Stark...don't worry I won't give any spoilers). GRRM has a talent, and it's not his ability to create a fantasy world so diverse that it can consume weeks of your life just trying to find out who the hell the Children of the Forest really are or why does of all the characters does he let Theon live. It's his abitilty to make you fall in love with a character, so strongly that you throw the book at the wall when something happens to him or her (yes I have done this...many times). He creates an excitement and fear in turning every page, you will know what I mean if you have read the books. Will my hero do something awesome on the next page or will his 'friends kill him' or will he be killed by dragons. You just don't know and that is what make GRRM and the books so great (the show is great, but doesn't come close). So would I slap him or hug him if I met him. I really don't know, but I know one thing is certain I would love to meet the genius that is George R.R. Martin.......P.S. Hurry up and finish the Winds of Winter.

Arsene Wenger

I am a huge sports fans, but more than that I am a huge football fan, but even more than that, I am a massive massive Arsenal fan....massive. It would be a dream come true to meet the man who has been at the helm of my beloved Arsenal for so many years. The Professor as he is known in the footballing world has in my opinion, revolutionised football as we know it. Sure you watch Barcelona, cause for a fact they have better players than Arsenal do. So it stands to reason that they do it better. However the style that they play is Arsenal. Pep Guardiola was/is a huge fan of Arsene's and Arsenal's philosophies and took those on as a manager at Barcelona. So please don't tell me Arsenal copied Barca, you need to look in a mirror. The man is a genius when it comes to football, and even though he has his many critics he has continued to steer the ship that is Arsenal. I have a plan to meet this man in the future, but I won't share that just yet, but I do have faith that this season is Arsenal's year.

Adriana Lima

Ok, this might not be a legitimate reason, but I think Adriana Lima is the most beautiful woman in the world. After all I am only human. I think even woman will agree that she is amazing. I have 'admired' her for many a year and I would just love to meet her...just to say that I got to spend time with this angel. Yes she is an angel. A Victoria Secret Angel, and aren't those just the best. And the fact that she has a child and is married, does nothing to hurt her appeal. Side fact, if you didn't know, she waited for her wedding night to lose her virginity, pretty impressive for someone that....well hot, if you can believe it. Ok I am done with this one, deep breath and move on.....

She deserves 2 pictures, just because she is so amazing. Can you believe she is a mother.

Bruce Willis

I thought long and hard about this one. I could only choose 5 and it was a close one between the Bruce and Russel Crowe, but then John Mcclane won. You don't know who John Mcclane is? Well he is the hero of the Die Hard franchise. But it's not these latest ones that I am talking about, it's the first three, especially the first one. Even though the latest ones are still cool. The first however, introduced us to John Mcclane the bad ass cop with a streak of something special. Anyway he defeats some terrorists with one hand behind his back and since then, anything Bruce Willis has touched I have loved. No matter if to the idle viewer, the movie he is in appears terrible, to me the Bruce can do no wrong. I mean he married Demi Moore, the most beautiful actress at that time and even when Ashton Kutcher came around, you could always see that Ashton was afraid that the Bruce would take her back when he wanted. I would just love to spend a day with him and soak up his cool.
