The Alfen Hotel - You gotta check it out!

Now this an absolute gem of a place! It is old school and homely with a relaxing atmosphere about it. A good couple of us have been a few times and it has been great!

The Alphen Boutique Hotel is found in the Cape’s oldest and most beautiful wine valley, Constantia Valley in Cape Town. Not only do they have the most beautiful gardens but the food is great as well as the drink selection.


The inside restaurant and bar are really great, but it is outside area that really caught our eyes. You are able to chill on couches while a friendly staff makes sure those glasses are kept full of delicious beer or wine. And don't worry if its cold, there are heaters in place and they will even throw in a blanket. 

We have yet to actually stay in the hotel (wink wink) but have heard amazing reviews about it! With such relaxing vibes accompanied by awesome service this place is a win for people staying there or just popping in for lunch and drinks! If we had to say one more thing, it is that the meat ball pasta that we had at the Alphen, is the best we have ever had. We would definitely recommend this to everyone and you can find more details at the bottom of the post.
